The Tea Route is a gastronomic and cultural journey, aiming at discovering various aspects of colonial and traditional Mauritius. The route has 3 stages which awakens your five senses as you discover the making of tea, rum, vanilla and as you visit the exotic gardens of Bois Cheri tea plantation.
Tour begins with the visit of the Domaine des Aubineaux, Colonial Mansion-Museum built in 1872. Following with a visit of the Bois Cheri Tea Factory, Tea Museum and a tea tasting offered in Bois Cheri Restaurant. Last stop at Saint Aubin house, Colonial House built in 1819, renovated in the 90’s and transformed into a table d’hote where you will enjoy a typical Mauritian meal.
This is a private full day tour in a private vehicle including pick up and drop off from your hotel or residence.
